"Could Not Find Sample" Error (VET)
Description
Article applies to: Sibelius 7
This error message indicates PLAY was unable to find the sample files at the location indicated in the multi files. Generally this is because the saved location reflects our library installation and folder structure rather than the folder structure on your system.
Solution
Verify that you are loading the correct Sibelius Multis for the version of VET you are using and when prompted select "OK" or "Find Sample".
In the dialog that comes up, locate and select the root folder of the sound library on your system and click "OK".
When the correct folder is selected VET will begin resolving and loading the samples.
After loading is complete, use "Main Menu > Save" in VET to overwrite and save the multi files with the correct paths for your system.
